Summer Leadership Program

Things to Bring:

  • Bible
  • Journal
  • Bedding (Sleeping bag or Sheets & Blanket)
  • Bath Towel
  • Toiletries
  • Casual, modest clothing for Warm Kansas City June weather (average temperature: 85—95° F) May want sweat shirt for prayer room and classroom A/C it can be chilly indoors
  • Spending Cash: for gas/carpool, living supplies, coffee, snacks, bookstore resources (e.g. music, books, apparel), etc.

Optional things to Bring:

  • Portable musical instruments — e.g. acoustic, electric, or bass guitars, violins/violas (no keyboards or drums please)

Things NOT to Bring:

  • Desktop computers
  • Large stereos
  • Video games
  • Televisions
  • DVD player
  • Movies We endeavor to create a sanctified living area for SLP participants; therefore no movies, secular music, or video games may be played in the housing quarters. Optional Things to Bring:
