Luke18 Fight! Conference (Nov 11-13, 2010)
“In the day of Thy battle, Your youth shall volunteer freely.”
(Psalm 110:3)
Over 100 years ago, God raised up the Student Volunteer Movement out of North America and Europe that touched the ends of the earth as 20,000 students were mobilized to preach the Gospel in foreign lands and to give themselves to “the evangelization of the world in this generation.” These students gave up comfortable lives and the so-called “American Dream” to abandon themselves wholly to the purposes of God in their generation.
We believe that the Lord is again raising up a radical movement of students and young adults that is committed to unrelenting prayer and aggressive missions so that the Lamb who was slain may receive the reward of His suffering. Our desire is to equip this next generation of prayer and missions leaders to advance the Kingdom of God by finishing the task of world evangelization (Matt 24:14), discipling the nations (Matt 28:19-20), and praying back the King (Luke 18:7-8; Isa 42:10-13).
On November 11-13, 2010 (Veteran’s Day weekend), we will gather 4,000 to 5,000 young adults and college students in Los Angeles for the Fight! conference (all ages are welcome).
